The Assistant Store Manager at The Cosmetics Company Store in Sunbury, Ohio, supports the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the Sales Associate team to meet sales, service and operational targets. The role requires retail and supervisory experience, with cosmetics experience preferred, and pays $21.00–$35.00 hourly depending on experience, skills, education, budget and geographic location, plus eligibility for a competitive bonus program. This is a full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous supervisory experience and a proven record of coaching or mentoring others to meet sales and customer service targets.
- Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
