The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing Sales Associates to meet sales, customer service and operational targets, while contributing to retail operations and store performance. The position is full-time and offers an anticipated pay range of $21–$35 per hour, with eligibility for bonus programs and benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
  • Help drive the success of the store or counter.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Manage retail operations, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
  • Previous supervisory experience and a proven track record of coaching or mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 35 per hour.
