Estée Lauder Companies seeks an Assistant Regulatory Affairs Manager to serve as regulatory business partner in Vietnam, ensuring product compliance with local cosmetics regulations and providing strategic regulatory guidance to business operations. The role encompasses FDA registration management, customs clearance coordination, stakeholder engagement with government agencies, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams to facilitate efficient project implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner proactively with business stakeholders in strategic planning to provide innovative regulatory strategies and direction, ensuring market regulatory requirements are understood and incorporated into business planning and execution
- Ensure all products marketed in Vietnam comply with Cosmetic Law and applicable regulations
- Serve as regulatory counsel to marketing teams in evaluating regulatory risk for products and claims
- Collaborate with global and regional colleagues to identify core processes and implement projects efficiently in Vietnam with strong commercial impact
- Act as spokesperson for Estée Lauder Companies Vietnam in communications with government agencies including the FDA and trade associations
- Identify regulatory opportunities and ensure organizational representation in policy discussions affecting Vietnam operations
- Develop and maintain relationships of trust with local regulatory agencies and external bodies in accordance with business ethics and organizational priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in FDA registration, customs clearance, supply chain, and logistics management
- Full command of the English language
- Strong knowledge of skincare and consumer products sectors
