Assistant Manager required to support the Store Manager in leading and developing a sales team, achieving sales, customer service and operational targets at a prestige beauty retail counter. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven supervisory and coaching experience within a fast-paced retail environment, with particular expertise in cosmetics retail operations and team mentorship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the sales team to achieve targets
- Mentor Sales Associates to deliver inspirational and personalized customer service
- Lead retail operations including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Manage retail floor during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and special events
- Monitor and drive sales performance and customer service delivery
- Conduct staff training and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with retail operations policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics
- Previous supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Retail operations expertise including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events

Experience
Proven supervisory and coaching experience in a fast-paced retail environment, with demonstrated success in achieving sales and customer service targets. Background in cosmetics retail preferred.
