Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local sourcing strategy and plans aligned with regional and global procurement objectives, supporting regional and global targets achievement
- Evaluate and select vendors to address business needs by leveraging market knowledge and commercial negotiation expertise
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks through comprehensive assessment and proactive planning
- Manage all supplier relationships, including performance measurement, tracking, and oversight of improvement initiatives
- Develop and enhance supplier capabilities in alignment with organizational requirements
- Lead resolution of supplier-related issues and optimize vendor relationships
- Monitor and coordinate Ariba Shopping Carts PO processing, PO compliance reporting, and vendor asset maintenance
- Propose and implement improvements to procure-to-pay tools and processes to enhance local sourcing effectiveness
- Maintain and manage repository of local legal agreements and procurement documentation
- Ensure compliance with agreed payment terms through coordination with Finance and Accounting teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional procurement experience in strategic sourcing roles managing diverse goods and services categories
- Professional purchasing or procurement certification (e.g., ISM CPM) desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior internal stakeholders and external business partners effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of vendor markets in developing countries
- Experience or proficiency with SAP SRM systems
- Openness to process change and continuous improvement

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement and strategic sourcing across multiple goods and services categories, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or comparable industries. Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and procurement process optimization.
