This is a freelance, on-call position for a Beauty Advisor at Estée Lauder, where the incumbent will deliver personalized customer service and beauty consultations in a high-performing retail environment. The role combines creative and technical expertise with exceptional customer engagement, including visual merchandising execution, in-store event support, and product education to drive customer satisfaction and brand loyalty in prestige beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active product knowledge of brand offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of legal work authorization in the United States upon hire
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and handle merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred; demonstrated track record in customer-facing service execution within a retail sales environment is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal beauty or cosmetology certification is preferred but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Yuma, Arizona, USA, with easy access to Phoenix.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
