Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor for on-call freelance assignments at retail locations in Wilmington, NC. This role combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for customer service to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences across the prestige beauty portfolio. The advisor will execute visual merchandising standards, facilitate in-store promotional events, and educate customers on products whilst maintaining active product knowledge and collaborating with store teams to ensure operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality beauty consultations and customer service to in-store patrons
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during assigned shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with retail sales environments and customer-facing service execution (preferred)

Compensation
