The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences at The Cosmetics Company Store in Orlando. Combining creative makeup artistry and technical expertise with a genuine passion for customer service, this role encompasses consultative selling, makeover demonstrations, product education, and visual merchandising excellence. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic retail team to execute in-store events, maintain premium store standards, and drive sales across prestige beauty categories.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide expert makeup artistry services and personalized consultations to customers in-store
• Conduct makeovers, product demonstrations, and educational consultations that inspire and delight
• Execute point-of-sale transactions and maintain familiarity with retail POS systems
• Contribute to visual merchandising standards and maintain store presentation aligned with brand guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to execute in-store events and promotional activations
• Build customer relationships and deliver authentic, inspirational service experiences
• Work flexibly across retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Creative and technical expertise in makeup application, or amateur-level experience with ability to demonstrate high proficiency
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software
• Proof of right to live and work in the United States

Skills

Experience

Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; candidates with strong amateur-level experience demonstrating high creative and technical expertise are also encouraged to apply.

Education

Makeup artistry certification is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.50 to USD 19 per hour.
