Estée Lauder seeks a creative and skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations in a prestige retail environment. The successful candidate will execute visual merchandising displays, support in-store promotional events, and maintain comprehensive product knowledge whilst creating an inspirational shopping experience. This freelance position requires flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail sales environments and customer-facing service execution is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal beauty education or training is not required.
