The Beauty Advisor delivers personalized, inspirational makeup experiences and collaborates with the team on in-store events and visual merchandising. Makeup artistry certification or retail makeup experience is preferred, though applicants with amateur experience and strong creative and technical expertise are welcome. This is a part-time, seasonal role, with an anticipated hourly pay range of $16.50–$19.00 depending on experience, skills, education and budget; the range may vary by location, and the role is eligible for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers, using creative and technical makeup expertise.
- Work with the team to create impact through in-store events.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards so it stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- A makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in the country must be provided if invited to interview.
