Estée Lauder seeks an Airport Concession Sales Coordinator in Sydney to drive sales performance and operations across luxury beauty brands at duty-free locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly qualitative and quantitative feedback on sales and brand associate (BA) performance to Senior Estée Lauder Executive (SEE) and Area Senior Operations Manager (ASOM)
- Actively collaborate with branded staff to execute brand targets and drive engagement on seasonal sales plans
- Execute and follow up on promotional programs and events at store level, analyzing sales results and recommending improvements
- Prepare monthly comprehensive reports including sell-through figures, customer traffic trends, competitor activities, retailer promotions, and brand incentive recaps with photographic documentation
- Supervise daily counter duties including housekeeping, merchandising, stock availability, price signage, and promotional materials
- Manage inventory by reviewing and adjusting brand minimum/maximum levels and shelf capacity to align with sales demand and presentation standards
- Identify and report out-of-stock items on top-selling products, coordinating with retail store teams and SEE/ASOM
- Monitor non-saleable inventory (GWPs, testers, samples, gift wrapping) and develop action plans with SEE
- Ensure all brand visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines, including planograms, visual units, ticketing, testers, and GWP displays
- Support promotional event setups and changeovers at counter level, capturing photographic evidence and rectifying installations as needed
- Report counter maintenance issues and brand staff absences to SEE, proposing coverage solutions when required
- Provide feedback and observations to SEE on brand staff performance, product knowledge, service training, grooming standards, and operational procedures
- Uphold workplace health and safety standards, reporting incidents and accidents per company protocol
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years retail management experience, preferably in duty-free or cosmetics retail environments
- Strong business acumen with demonstrable result-driven and customer-oriented approach
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to perform under pressure and manage tight schedules
- Superior organizational skills with capacity for multi-tasking and prioritization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
