Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with collection merchandising to understand seasonal themes, product stories, and key visual directions
- Work with retail merchandising to align visual strategies with sales objectives and store-specific requirements
- Support the Point of Contact for Visual Merchandising in creating and communicating detailed visual merchandising directives to store teams
- Interpret and apply visual merchandising guidelines across various retail formats and environments
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies for showrooms that effectively communicate collection concepts
- Adapt visual merchandising standards for diverse store environments including Directly Operated Stores, pop-up stores, and wholesale accounts
- Ensure consistent brand image and elevated product presentation across all Directly Operated Stores
- Conduct regular store visits to audit visual merchandising execution and provide constructive feedback to retail staff
- Train retail teams on visual merchandising principles and best practices
- Research and analyze visual merchandising trends and competitor activities to propose innovative solutions
- Manage visual merchandising budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of visual merchandising props and fixtures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Retail Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising within a luxury fashion brand
- Strong understanding of retail environments and ability to adapt visual strategies to different store formats
- Proven ability to interpret creative concepts and translate them into effective visual displays
- Excellent aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic retail settings
