Financial Controller role at Emilio Pucci Milan HQ. Report to CFO, oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. €40,000+ annual salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, P&L analyses, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
- Deliver periodic and ad-hoc financial reporting to management
- Oversee consistency and accuracy of financial information across the organization
- Manage annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads and regional controllers
- Support definition of financial guidelines and ensure consistent organizational application
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and financial modelling methodologies
- Provide management with actionable financial insights and recommendations to optimize cost structures and improve margins
- Perform detailed variance analyses comparing actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior year
- Monitor inventory levels, cost of goods sold, and margins while analyzing deviations and identifying improvement opportunities
- Track and evaluate key performance indicators related to commercial growth, cost efficiency, and profitability
- Coordinate with local and regional controllers for effective performance monitoring and consistent reporting
- Monitor cash flow performance and contribute to working capital optimization
- Prepare and oversee treasury forecasts
- Oversee capital expenditure tracking and support ROI analysis for strategic investments
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and investment evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance and Controlling
- Ideally combines Big Four audit experience with corporate controlling roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Strong analytical skills with a methodical, structured, and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and business orientation
- Passion for the luxury industry with understanding of its dynamics

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance and Controlling, ideally combining Big Four audit experience with corporate controlling roles within a structured and international environment.
