Em Microelectronic in Marin-Epagnier, Switzerland seeks an HR Generalist to manage payroll, social insurance and HR administration (French & English).
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll, bonuses and variable compensation.
- Compile and control statutory social contributions and tax withholdings (AVS, allowances, withholding tax).
- Administer social insurance and occupational pension fund matters (caisse de pension).
- Develop HR budgets and maintain salary review tables.
- Perform annual closing of HR accounts and related reconciliations.
- Prepare HR statistics, dashboards and regular reporting for the group.
- Manage the employee record lifecycle: hirings, internal moves and terminations.
- Administer time management system (Mobatime) and related attendance records.
- Handle work permit applications and immigration-related formalities.
- Process and follow up accident declarations and long-term illness cases.
- Support organisation of employee events, corporate initiatives and social actions.
- Draft employment certificates and internal communications in French and English.
- Maintain and optimise HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Perform miscellaneous HR administrative tasks (jubilees, eyewear contributions, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English; ability to draft formal documents in both languages.
- Solid knowledge of Swiss labour law, social insurance (AVS) and occupational pension practices.
- Proven experience in payroll administration and HR reporting.
- High level of discretion and professionalism handling confidential employee data.

Experience
Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in HR administration, including Swiss payroll, social insurance and employee lifecycle management within a medium-sized or manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
