EM Microelectronic seeks an HR Generalist in Marin, Switzerland to manage payroll, employee lifecycle, and HR administration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll, bonuses, and performance incentives
- Establish and control payroll statements including social security (AVS), family allowances, and withholding taxes
- Manage social insurance and pension fund administration
- Develop HR budgets and coordinate salary review processes
- Execute annual HR account closing and reconciliation
- Generate HR statistics, dashboards, and consolidated reporting for the group
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle management including onboarding, transfers, and departures
- Administer timekeeping systems and time tracking (Mobatime)
- Process work permit and visa applications
- Handle accident declarations and manage long-term illness cases
- Support the organization of employee events, team activities, and corporate social initiatives
- Draft employment certificates in French and English
- Execute various HR administrative tasks including anniversary recognition and benefit coordination
- Actively participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of HR processes
- Draft and publish internal communications in French and English
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HR administration or payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of Swiss labor law and social security regulations (AVS, BVG)
- Proficiency with HR information systems and time tracking software such as Mobatime
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential personnel data
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or a similar administrative role within a human resources department. Familiarity with Swiss employment law and social insurance systems is highly valued.
Education
Secondary education (Maturité/Baccalauréat) or equivalent professional qualification. HR-related certification or diploma (e.g., CFC/apprenticeship in HR administration) is preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Marin, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with easy access to Neuchâtel.
