Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver and iterate classroom and in‑store training programmes that translate Dries Van Noten product, merchandising and clienteling standards into measurable retail behaviours.
  • Coach boutique and department store teams through one‑to‑one coaching, role‑play and live sales observation to raise conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
  • Onboard new retail hires and create tailored development plans with store managers to close capability gaps and sustain performance improvements.
  • Partner with regional managers, visual merchandising and wholesale teams to align training with collection launches, campaigns and merchandising resets.
  • Measure training impact using retail KPIs, provide timely feedback to leadership and propose interventions to address performance trends.
  • Travel regularly to assigned stores and markets to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and to cultivate frontline ambassador networks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in training delivery within luxury or premium retail (typically 3–5+ years), ideally across multi‑store operations.
  • Demonstrable coaching experience with the ability to translate retail theory into on‑floor behaviour change.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving sales metrics through learning interventions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging audiences of varied seniority.
