A freelance beauty advisor supporting The Ordinary, NIOD, Dr.Jart+, Bumble and bumble, and Origins at Ulta Beauty and Sephora in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida. The role combines personalized customer service, product expertise, and visual merchandising execution to create engaging in-store experiences, drive sales through impactful events and demonstrations, and educate customers on brand offerings and application techniques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers across assigned brands
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, benefits, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
- Drive sales through impactful in-store visits, focus days, and event execution while achieving and exceeding daily and event sales goals
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the retail sales floor
- Ability to reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience preferred. Familiarity with a fast-paced retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution is advantageous.
