On-call freelance retail beauty advisor for Dr.Jart+ at Estée Lauder Companies locations in San Diego. The role combines creative expertise and customer service excellence to deliver personalized beauty consultations, execute visual merchandising displays, and drive customer engagement through in-store events and product demonstrations in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the retail sales floor
- Ability to handle product packaging and display materials weighing up to 25 lbs

Experience
Preferred previous retail or beauty industry experience and familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution.
