A highly skilled beauty advisor will deliver personalized in-store consultations and customer service across multiple prestige brands (The Ordinary, NIOD, Dr. Jart+, Bumble and bumble, and Origins) at Ulta Beauty and Sephora locations. The role combines creative expertise with visual merchandising execution, in-store event support, and product knowledge to create inspirational customer experiences whilst driving sales targets. This on-call freelance position offers flexible hours in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
• Drive sales through impactful in-store visits, events, and key focus days while consistently achieving daily and event sales goals

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods on the retail sales floor
• Ability to reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Experience

Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred; however, candidates with demonstrated ability to provide customer service in a fast-paced environment will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
