Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the plant quality control team, setting priorities, objectives and KPIs to ensure consistent product quality.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of quality systems (GMP, ISO-based procedures and internal standards) across production lines.
- Manage incoming raw material and finished-goods sampling, analytical testing programs and stability studies to ensure specification conformity.
- Drive non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes until effective resolution.
- Coordinate internal and external audits (supplier, customer and certification bodies) and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, Regulatory and Supply Chain to align quality requirements and support new product industrialisation.
- Maintain quality documentation (release certificates, batch records, deviations, change controls) and prepare management reports.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (process control, SPC) to reduce variability, waste and risk to product quality.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science or a related technical discipline.
- Proven knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cosmetic industry quality requirements; familiarity with ISO standards.
- Demonstrable experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment, preferably within cosmetics, fragrances or personal care.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in root-cause analysis and CAPA methodology.
- Practical experience with internal and external auditing processes and corrective action management.
- Excellent organisational skills, decisive leadership and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production environment.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity; prior experience in cosmetics, fragrances, personal care or related chemical manufacturing strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science or equivalent technical discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications in quality management preferred.
