Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute industrial logistics strategy for the Alcalá de Henares site, aligning warehouse, transport and inbound/outbound flows with corporate supply-chain objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfilment and materials handling to ensure on-time service and accurate stock records.
  • Coordinate inbound raw materials and finished-goods movements with suppliers, 3PL partners and internal production planners.
  • Oversee transport planning and carrier performance, negotiating service levels, rates and KPIs with external partners.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean principles) to reduce lead times, costs and waste across logistics processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial logistics activities.
  • Prepare and monitor logistics budgets, performance dashboards and operational KPIs; report results to regional supply-chain leadership.
  • Manage, coach and develop a multidisciplinary logistics team; set objectives and ensure adherence to Puig quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
  • Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering operational performance improvements.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to work on-site at a production/logistics facility.
