The Senior Housekeeper supports daily housekeeping operations at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai, helping maintain exceptional guest standards, lead a multicultural team and manage departmental budgets. The role also assists with inspections, recruitment, training and disciplinary procedures; it is permanent and full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience.
- Support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in the department’s daily operations and guide and develop a multicultural team to uphold Dorchester standards.
- Assist with daily shift operations, working with colleagues to maintain clean and well-kept guestrooms, public areas and colleague spaces.
- Conduct inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain guest and colleague satisfaction while managing the operating budget.
- Help manage controllable departmental expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- Guide, lead and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Assist with recruitment processes, departmental training and disciplinary procedures.
Qualifications
