Role & Responsibilities
- Manage restaurant reservation bookings, requests and confirmations.
- Control the flow of work in the dining room by coordinating seating requests according to station rotation, maintaining guest lists, and following and enforcing restaurant standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Restaurants and Bars and the Supper Club General Manager to manage bookings and guest requests.
- Promote the restaurants to guests and provide information about operating hours, promotions and events across food and beverage outlets.
- Communicate special seating preferences, regular guests’ needs, dietary restrictions and special occasions to managers and servers; advise them of VIP questions and specific service requirements so these requests can be fulfilled by food and beverage supervisors and managers.
- Report imperfections and blemishes around the hotel and work with other team members to address them.
- Coordinate with other departments and the wider hotel team to maintain alignment.
- Meet the role’s physical requirements, including standing and walking for up to eight hours, frequent computer and telephone use, bending and crouching, manual dexterity, and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Work varying schedules, including holidays, to meet hotel business demands.
