The Extra Restaurant Guest Relations Officer supports guest service, reservations, and administrative coordination at Le Dali in Le Meurice. The role is full-time and extra work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and with a smile while maintaining a professional manner; escort them to their table and during any movements, and manage the cloakroom.
- Build guest loyalty, provide personalized service, and ensure satisfaction throughout the guest experience.
- Optimize restaurant reservations to maintain balanced occupancy throughout each service.
- Take reservations by telephone, email, fax, or post.
- Record and follow up on reservation confirmations and cancellations using La Fourchette, Book a Table, and SevenRooms.
- Update, print, and maintain menus; distribute them online through Dorchester Collection, La Fourchette, and Michelin, in the Rue de Rivoli display stands, and to each service team.
- Record and follow up on requests received by email, telephone, and other channels.
- Act as the liaison between the kitchens, points of sale, and direct guest requests or Guest Experience colleagues.
- Monitor reviews on online platforms such as TripAdvisor.
- Check the proper functioning and updates of online information and reservation platforms, including La Fourchette, Michelin, Dorchester Collection, and Les Collectionneurs.
- Coordinate exceptional events, including private events and year-end celebrations, by preparing function sheets, communicating with teams, and handing over instructions.
- Follow up on commercial offers by registering menus on platforms, formatting menus, monitoring revenue, and reviewing results.
- Enrich and use Nexus, and provide relevant information to each point of sale daily.
- Order restaurant supplies such as paper, envelopes, and menu materials.
- Manage restaurant mail and parcels.
- Record gift cards and manage PMs and payments.
- Issue invoices.
- Monitor compliance with procedures for complimentary items.
