Dorchester Collection seeks an extra service supervisor for Private Salons and internal or external events at Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris. The role coordinates guest service, takes orders, liaises between kitchen and service, and may supervise and train teams; the engagement is ponctuel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate service, welcoming guests and providing attentive, haute couture-style follow-up to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Take orders accurately and precisely.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and dishes.
- Act as the liaison between the kitchen and service team, ensuring food and beverages are delivered to the dining room.
- Supervise and train teams when needed.
- Work in the Private Salons service for internal and external events.
Qualifications
- Hold a BTS in Hospitality and Catering or a higher qualification from a hospitality school.
- Ideally, have service experience in an establishment of a similar category.
- Be dynamic and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Have an excellent presentation, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of good customer service.
- Communicate fluently in French and English.
