Dorchester Collection seeks a Personal Trainer at The Lana Dubai to deliver tailored individual and small-group fitness programmes, assessments and coaching while supporting spa operations and guest wellbeing. The role is full-time and permanent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create positive, memorable experiences for spa visitors and hotel guests.
- Support the Spa and Wellness facility, collaborating with the department head, spa team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Deliver fitness techniques and training programmes to individuals and small groups.
- Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programmes tailored to individual goals and small-group settings.
- Lead specialised group classes, drawing on knowledge of disciplines such as Pilates and yoga.
- Provide personalised one-to-one coaching.
- Maintain knowledge of fitness modalities, equipment, functional training programmes, retail items and products used to support services and guest needs; use them to expected standards, keep abreast of trends and technologies, research beneficial techniques, and promote Wellness packages and plans.
- Supervise safe use of the fitness area and equipment, and inform guests about gym etiquette and hygiene guidelines.
- Assess clients’ fitness levels and health conditions to develop appropriate physical and nutritional regimens.
- Conduct detailed fitness assessments, classes and personal training sessions.
- Develop individual exercise programmes and fitness plans, explain them clearly, and monitor progress towards guests’ fitness levels and desired results.

Qualifications
- A strong background in recreation and guest care in a luxury environment, with at least 2 years’ experience handling.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate exceptional guest relations.
- Team spirit, empathy and a guest-centric approach.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service ethic, with an understanding of their importance.
- Comfortable communication in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued.
