Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain an impeccable café floor; greet guests, take orders, and serve food, coffee, cocktails and afternoon tea with care and precision.
- Respond to guest requests and participate in pre-shift briefings to support an excellent guest experience.
- Serve morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening cocktails with warmth and attentiveness.
- Maintain the café’s high standards by noticing and promptly addressing issues and working with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
- Know the menu, food allergies, all-day dining, afternoon tea programme, cocktails and wine list, and share this knowledge with guests.
- Represent the Lobby Café and The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
- Work varying schedules, including holidays, to meet hotel business demands.
- Regularly talk and hear; frequently walk and stand for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop and crouch; use hand, finger and wrist dexterity; and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
