Role & Responsibilities
- Build relationships with guests and develop institutional knowledge to elevate each visit and deliver an exceptional experience across the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and special requests, build rapport, and share relevant information seamlessly with the appropriate teams.
- Greet, escort, and seat guests warmly; manage reservations for both outlets, make confirmation calls, and accurately add, modify, remove, and confirm bookings in the online reservation system.
- Identify standards that fall short in the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar and work with the team to address them promptly.
- Liaise across outlets, departments, and the wider hotel team to ensure seamless coordination; represent both venues in phone conversations in accordance with hotel standards.
- Represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride and uphold the principles, goals, and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
- Work varying schedules, including holidays, to meet hotel business demands.
- Regularly talk and hear; frequently walk and stand for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop, and crouch; use hand, finger, and wrist dexterity; and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. The role requires close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
