The Guest Relations Agent at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai, supports guest-experience improvements, hotel projects and personalized guest recognition, while welcoming guests and sharing the hotel’s stories. The role is permanent and full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with the Guest Experience team to continuously improve the guest experience, enhance the hotel’s service proposition and process efficiency, and drive key hotel projects in support of strategic priorities and business goals.
- Contribute to processes and activities that promote Dorchester Collection’s culture and values and bring its “We Care” philosophy to life for employees and guests.
- Preserve the hotels’ status by sourcing and sharing stories that create memorable moments and identifying opportunities to deliver special experiences across the guest journey.
- Develop and communicate stories to key stakeholders within the property, Dorchester Collection and its hotels.
- Maintain a long-term, detailed view of guests to help stakeholders understand them, build genuine connections and turn insights into experiences.
- Support the creative planner in developing plans and managing the in-house market mix through appropriate concepts and experiences.
- Manage amenities and gifts inventory and take action to recognize guests through any channel, including social media.
- Act as a host, welcoming guests and providing directions.
Qualifications
- Bring personality, creativity and passion to the role and team.
- Customer-service orientation, outstanding communication and active-listening skills, problem-solving and multitasking skills, and a relationship-driven approach.
- Strong communication skills and a strong customer-service and business ethic.
- Comfortable communicating in English.
- Relevant professional qualification or hotel-school diploma.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity at luxury hotels.
- Previous experience in a similar or relevant customer-service role is an advantage.
