Role & Responsibilities
- Promote and sell hotel amenities and services while delivering high-quality service and bringing the hotel’s vision, values, and mission to life.
- Understand the structure, roles, responsibilities, and operating standards of the departments being led.
- Create departmental schedules, manage payroll reporting, and forecast operational requirements.
- Fulfil guest requests, including dietary requirements, room preferences, and special-occasion arrangements.
- Report and work with other roles to correct imperfections and maintenance issues.
- Communicate with other departments and the wider hotel team to maintain alignment.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and work independently.
Qualifications
- Comfortable communicating in English, the hotel’s primary language.
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Must provide own housing and transportation to and from work.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must complete a degree in hospitality, human resources, sales and marketing, food and beverage, or business administration within one year of the program.
- Must be at least 21 years old before the program start date.
- Ability to talk and hear; frequently walk and stand for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop, and crouch; use hand, finger, and wrist dexterity; and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
