Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain clean dishes, flatware, pots, pans and preparation areas by scraping food from dishes, washing them by hand or loading them into racks or a conveyor dishwasher.
- Wash pots, pans, kitchen tools and trays; sweep and mop kitchen floors, banquet service areas and hallways.
- Fulfil guest requests involving kosher dishes, specific preparation and setup, and special occasions.
- Report imperfections and blemishes in the hotel and work with other roles to correct them.
- Communicate with other departments and the extended hotel team to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
- Comfortably communicate in English, the hotel's primary language.
- Able to work a flexible schedule and varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop and crouch; and use hand, finger and wrist dexterity.
- Able to lift, carry, push and pull moderate weights up to 50 pounds.
- Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
