Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes and ensure their service so guests consistently enjoy an exceptional experience.
• Organize work by assigning tasks and checking their completion.
• Oversee mise en place.
• Work collaboratively with Chef de Partie colleagues.
• Communicate instructions to commis chefs and contribute to apprentice training.
• Provide necessary training to team members who need it.
• Participate in recording inventories of food supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department on the selection of food suppliers.
• Prepare orders, specifying the type, quantity and quality of supplies.

Qualifications

• Hold culinary training at CAP level or above.
• Have experience in an establishment and in a similar role.
• Have a strong sense of organization and discipline.
• Be dynamic, attentive and motivated.
• Have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of good customer service.
• Be able to communicate comfortably in French, the hotel's primary spoken language.
