The Cost Control Supervisor at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai leads inventory tracking, reconciles operating equipment transactions, supports hotel-wide inventory controls and produces regular cost and statistical reports. The role also identifies stock-handling irregularities and supports the Assistant Director of Finance with ad hoc projects; permanent, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the inventory control support team in maintaining strict tracking procedures for chinaware, glassware, silverware, food, beverage, tobacco and consumables.
- Record and reconcile monthly purchases and issues of operating equipment, maintaining appropriate records.
- Continuously support the hotel's internal control environment for inventory management.
- Produce accurate cost and statistical information reports for senior management daily, weekly and monthly.
- Identify and correct procedural irregularities in recording, storing and handling stock items.
- Support the Assistant Director of Finance with ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Qualifications
- Strong accounting, analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethic.
- Comfortable communicating in English.

Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity in luxury hotels in the Middle East.
