Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Concierge Team in continuously improving the guest experience, enhancing the hotel’s service proposition and process efficiency, and advancing key hotel projects aligned with strategic priorities and business goals.
- Serve as a point of reference for guests seeking assistance or information; arrange dining reservations, events, excursions, transportation and other external services at the request of hotel guests and local residents.
- Build knowledge of, and relationships and partnerships with, the local community and businesses to enhance guests’ stays.
- Stay informed about current events, dining and entertainment, and service providers; develop extensive knowledge of the hotel premises and nearby venues and businesses to make suitable recommendations.
- Support the Head Concierge in managing city-based external relationships and partnerships, maintain relationships with the global Concierge network, and manage and regularly assess the relevance and quality of preferred vendors.
- Oversee the grooming of the bell captain, luggage porters, doorman and valet team.
- Bring the hotel’s values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity to the role and contribute to its legacy.
Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualification or hotel school diploma.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity at luxury hotels.
- Previous experience as a Concierge or in a premium guest services role is an advantage.
- Eloquent and comfortable communication in English, the hotel’s primary language for serving its international clientele.
