The Beverly Hills Hotel is hiring a Busser / Runner to support service at its Lobby Café and Hotel Bar, maintaining guest-ready tables and stations, assisting servers and bartenders, and responding to guest requests. The role requires flexible scheduling, including holidays, and offers $26.27 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, fully stocked, guest-ready tables and service stations across the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar, ensuring glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, and ice meet the standards of each space.
- Work alongside servers and bartenders to run food and beverages, clear tables with precision and appropriate timing, and maintain seamless service across both outlets.
- Support the team in responding attentively and carefully to guests’ dietary restrictions, drink preferences, and special-occasion requests.
- Report imperfections in the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar and work with other team members to correct them promptly.
- Stay connected with both outlet teams and the wider hotel team to support smooth communication and coordination.
- Represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride and uphold the principles, goals, and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
- Work varying schedules, including holidays, to meet the hotel’s operational needs.
Qualifications
- Comfort communicating in English, the primary language used at the hotel.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to support a hotel operating around the clock.
- Ability to talk and hear; walk and stand for up to 8 hours; bend, stoop, and crouch; and use hand, finger, and wrist dexterity.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
