The Beverly Hills Hotel is hiring a Busperson / Runner to support food and beverage service at its Lobby Café and Hotel Bar. The role includes maintaining tables and service stations, running food and beverages, responding to guest needs and coordinating with outlet and hotel teams. Permanent, full-time position with varying schedules, including holidays; compensation is $26.27 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, fully stocked, guest-ready tables and service stations, ensuring glassware, silverware, linens, condiments and ice meet the standards of the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar.
- Work with servers and bartenders to run food and beverages, clear tables with precision and timing, and maintain seamless service across both outlets.
- Support the team in responding attentively to guest requests, including dietary restrictions, drink preferences and special occasions.
- Report imperfections in the Lobby Café and Hotel Bar and work with colleagues to resolve them promptly.
- Communicate closely with outlet teams and the wider hotel team to ensure service alignment.
- Represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride and uphold its Pledge, principles, goals and policies.
- Work varying schedules, including holidays, to meet hotel business demands.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including walking and standing for up to 8 hours, bending, stooping, crouching, using hand, finger and wrist dexterity, regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks requiring close and distance vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
