Dorchester Collection is recruiting a Breakfast Service Intern at Le Meurice in Paris for a six-month, full-time internship, starting as soon as possible; an internship agreement is required. The intern prepares the dining room, welcomes and serves guests, coordinates with the kitchen and hotel teams, and supports service closing in line with the house's standards. Benefits include 95% reimbursement of Paris-area transport costs and preferential access to the staff restaurant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up the dining room, including arranging tables and preparing equipment and products.
- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables and present the offering.
- Provide table service, monitor service and coordinate with the kitchen.
- Follow Dorchester Collection service standards and internal procedures.
- Assist with closing service by clearing, organizing and cleaning equipment.
- Communicate with other departments and hotel teams to ensure a consistent level of service.
- Share information and complete training in the hotel's working methods and those of the department.
Qualifications
- Comfortable communicating in French, the hotel's primary language.
