The Extra Banquet Chef de Rang at Le Meurice is responsible for preparing banquet rooms and equipment, managing an assigned station during service, supervising a commis and maintaining the dining room and service area. This is a full-time extra role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms for lunches, dinners, meetings and other events, including arranging tables, chairs, protective coverings and linens.
- Manage the assigned station throughout service and maintain eye contact with guests.
- Supervise the commis assigned to the station and ensure their work is completed properly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to satisfy guests.
- Keep the dining room and back-of-house service area in excellent condition and care for the equipment.
