Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture prototype components for watch cases and jewellery assemblies using CNC and conventional machines
- Develop and implement machining programs with precision and technical accuracy
- Perform dimensional inspection and quality control using standard measurement instruments
- Collaborate with technical teams to establish and refine technical documentation and product specifications
- Fabricate tooling and fixtures required for production processes
- Conduct product assembly and functional testing to ensure component compatibility
- Liaise with finishing departments to maintain aesthetic standards on machined components
- Propose technical solutions to production challenges and identify efficiency improvements
- Participate in product development and component design optimization
- Proactively enhance manufacturing yields and process efficiency
Qualifications
- Four-year technical apprenticeship (CFC) in polymechanics or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a similar prototyping or precision machining role
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming
- Expert knowledge of conventional and CNC machining (turning and milling)
- Competent use of standard measurement tools and dimensional control instruments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams
