Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver precise technical expertise and direct operational support to production teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and post-level instructions
- Identify technical training needs, develop and coach team members on polishing techniques, and propose process improvements
- Conduct defect analysis, evaluate and validate tooling and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with the workshop manager on work scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
- Monitor production plannings rigorously, track delivery timelines, and manage output quantities and quality metrics
- Troubleshoot technical issues and non-conformities on the production floor with immediate corrective action
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5R/5S methodology) and conduct quality audits
- Contribute to cross-departmental flow optimization and support apprentices and trial candidates with mentoring
- Foster positive team dynamics by relaying key technical information and maintaining an engaging work environment
