Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform first‑article inspections and in‑process checks using precision metrology (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and document results.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs and processes to address quality deviations and achieve dimensional stability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to implement process improvements and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain accurate production records, tooling lists, set‑up sheets and program libraries.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance and basic mechanical adjustments of machine tools to ensure uptime.
  • Train operators on set‑up procedures, safe machine operation and adherence to inspection criteria.

Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma (CFC/Brevet) in precision mechanics, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerancing.
  • Sound knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools and materials used in micro‑mechanics.
  • Strong commitment to quality, process discipline and documentation.
  • Available to work in Les Breuleux, Switzerland and comply with local employment requirements.
