Dolce & Gabbana seeks an experienced Womenswear Pattern Maker to join the Women's Patterns Office in Legnano, Milan. The successful candidate will develop garment patterns and technical specifications for the brand's womenswear collections, collaborating across design, production, and atelier teams to ensure technical excellence and design fidelity from conception through final production.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop new pattern bases, forms, and volumes in alignment with creative direction and technical requirements
- Create patterns both manually and using CAD software, with particular proficiency in PGS Investronica
- Complete detailed technical specification sheets containing all information necessary for sampling and prototype development
- Collaborate with the Product Office and reference tailoring departments to communicate technical requirements for garment production
- Participate in collection fitting sessions with the Creative Direction team and implement direct modifications to garments for refinement
- Develop runway show pieces to exacting specifications
- Contribute to defect resolution and garment modification to unlock production clearance
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of prior experience in pattern making or related technical roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of principal fabrics and their behavior
- Strong proficiency in industrial sewing techniques and industrial machinery
- Advanced expertise in CAD software, preferably PGS Investronica
- Demonstrated punctuality, precision, and operational autonomy
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork orientation

2–3 years of professional experience in womenswear pattern making or closely related technical garment development roles within the fashion or luxury apparel sector.
Education
