Dolce & Gabbana seeks an experienced Tailoring Operator to join its formal outerwear production department in Rubano. The successful candidate will execute tailoring and assembly operations on menswear and womenswear garments, utilizing industrial and specialized sewing equipment to meet precise company quality standards and timelines. The role demands technical proficiency in reading production specifications and collaborating with team leadership to resolve manufacturing challenges.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute tailoring operations for formal outerwear (menswear and womenswear) in compliance with technical specifications and company quality standards
- Operate linear industrial and specialized sewing machines, as well as hand-sewing techniques, to achieve precise garment construction and finishing
- Read and interpret technical production sheets to ensure correct execution of all tailoring phases and operations
- Maintain production schedules and timelines whilst adhering to established quality protocols
- Collaborate with production team members and supervisory staff to identify and resolve technical issues and process improvements
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a tailor, seamstress, or garment production specialist in industrial or artisanal workshop settings
- Demonstrated proficiency with industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques
- Strong understanding of tailoring methodologies and familiarity with primary textile materials
- Competency in reading and executing technical production specifications and sewing patterns
- Precision-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, punctuality, and attention to detail
Skills
Experience
Previous professional experience as a tailor, seamstress, or garment production operator in industrial manufacturing or specialized tailoring laboratories is required. Demonstrated capability in executing formal wear construction using both industrial machinery and manual techniques is essential.
Education
No specific formal educational qualification is mandated; however, technical training or certification in garment construction, tailoring, or industrial sewing is advantageous.

Compensation
