Dolce & Gabbana seeks an experienced Stock Supervisor to oversee all inbound and outbound merchandise operations at the Harrods flagship location. This role manages the complete stockroom lifecycle—from receiving and verification through replenishment and inter-store transfers—while leading inventory control initiatives and supervising stock associates to maintain operational excellence and luxury brand standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all receiving processes, including verification of quantities, tagging, documentation, and timely processing of incoming merchandise, supplies, PR/visual deliveries, and non-retail shipments
- Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom that supports overall store productivity and complies with corporate procedures
- Supervise the flow of goods between stockroom and sales floor, including article placement, rotation, and preparation of new items for display
- Ensure accurate and systematic replenishment of the sales floor to minimize client wait times and support product availability
- Manage all stock movements including inter-store transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), damages, consignments, and client deliveries
- Monitor stock levels daily and communicate rotation needs and discrepancies to management, proposing corrective actions
- Lead and participate in inventory counts, ensuring accuracy during bi-annual inventories and ongoing cycle counts
- Track unknown markdowns and support loss prevention initiatives to uphold shrink control policies
- Respond to corporate inquiries regarding discrepancies, missing documentation, or inventory issues
- Provide training and ongoing support to stock associates on systems, procedures, and stockroom standards
- Participate in daily store meetings to communicate business updates and operational priorities
- Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding company values and operational excellence
- Coordinate store maintenance needs and support special projects including fittings, alterations, furniture moves, and event setups
- Order and manage office supplies, beverages, and operational tools, coordinating with vendors and tracking deliveries
- Provide support with cash procedures and optional key holder responsibilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of luxury retail operations and inventory control experience
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of loss prevention practices and shrink control
- Leadership capabilities with results-driven mindset
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail software
