Dolce & Gabbana seeks an experienced Stock Keeper for its handbags concession at Bloomingdale's New York. The incumbent will manage all inbound and outbound merchandise, maintain comprehensive inventory logs, and oversee the organization and security of back-of-house stock areas. This part-time position requires a minimum of two years' retail operations experience in a luxury environment, strong organizational capabilities, and proficiency with inventory management systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound merchandise processing and tracking
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of back-of-house stock and supply areas
- Process all authorized merchandise into inventory through the computer system
- Manage inter-store transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTVs), and damage documentation
- Handle client purchases, consignments, and charge-send orders to other locations
- Maintain comprehensive logs for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Implement and maintain proper ticketing and security sensor standards
- Monitor inventory levels to control shortage and maximize stock productivity
- Ensure adherence to loss prevention standards and store policies
- Coordinate shipping and receiving procedures with vendors and internal teams
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail operations experience
- Proven experience managing a luxury retail stock room
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational ability and meticulous attention to detail
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and computer-based tracking
- Understanding of shipping, receiving, and logistics procedures
