Dolce & Gabbana seeks an experienced Senior Production Quality Control Specialist to oversee garment manufacturing quality across assigned production categories. Based in Legnano, the successful candidate will monitor cutting, sewing, and finishing processes at assigned facilities, evaluate product conformance to design specifications, identify and report defects, and drive process improvements with suppliers. The role requires AQL-based final quality validation and sign-off before warehouse acceptance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate cutting, sewing, and pressing operations across assigned garment production categories and external manufacturing facilities
- Assess product compliance against established quality specifications, technical directives, and design standards
- Identify and report cutting, sewing, and finishing defects and non-conformities
- Recommend corrective modifications to garment patterns and constructions to improve fit and optimize production workflows, securing necessary approvals
- Transfer technical knowledge and expertise to suppliers to enhance quality standards and optimize outsourced production processes
- Execute final AQL-based quality inspections and approve finished garments for warehouse acceptance
Qualifications
- Prior experience in production quality control within the textile and fashion sectors
- Technical diploma with specialization in Fashion or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of garment construction and quality control processes
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake frequent business travel
