Role & Responsibilities
- Develop custom-fitted pattern blocks from client anatomical measurements or existing master garment templates for outerwear, trousers, and waistcoats
- Create fashion-forward pattern variants consistent with Alta Sartoria runway presentations
- Manage defect resolution and model adjustment protocols throughout the production cycle
- Participate in domestic and international fittings, providing direct measurement support to clients
- Update and maintain technical specifications and pattern documentation post-fitting
- Collaborate with internal tailoring studios, external production partners, product development, and creative direction teams
- Inspect returned garments and resolve technical issues to meet quality standards
- Support urgent timeline optimisation and expedited delivery scenarios
- Maintain technical documentation and job management through PC-based software systems
- Operate CAD Modaris PGS pattern design software with proficiency
Qualifications
- Diploma or university degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or equivalent fashion-focused discipline
- Advanced custom patternmaking expertise in tailored garments (outerwear, trousers, waistcoats)
- Mastery of fitting techniques and defect-correction methodologies
- Deep knowledge of fabrics, construction techniques, and internal textile treatments (interfacings, adhesives)
