Dolce & Gabbana hiring Retail Infrastructure Specialist in New York, NY – manage IT infrastructure for retail and corporate operations across the US and Canada.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and monitor network, connectivity and end-user infrastructure at retail locations and corporate facilities, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points and on-premise servers
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of retail store technology, ensuring stability, functionality and efficiency across all locations
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure- and application-related issues; escalate appropriately while maintaining full ownership until resolution
- Manage backups, business continuity routines and disaster recovery procedures, aligning with global standards as cloud migration progresses
- Coordinate and facilitate provisioning and installation of new equipment during upgrade cycles, store openings and business expansions in close collaboration with regional and global teams
- Collaborate with IT Project & Support Specialist and PC & Telecommunications Specialist on shared initiatives including store openings, hardware rollouts and end-user support
- Engage with corporate, retail and project stakeholders to anticipate support needs, enhance user experience and identify opportunities to streamline retail technology
- Maintain and update documentation, asset records and shared materials to ensure accuracy and accessibility across the team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of comparable experience in retail IT or POS support, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail environments
- Strong knowledge of retail store technology, POS systems and store-side connectivity
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and firewalls
- Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS-based services and their integration with retail operations
- Windows Server administration skills
- Cybersecurity fundamentals applied to retail and end-user environments
- Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical work with cross-functional coordination
- Familiarity with SD-WAN deployments and modern retail connectivity standards
- Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications preferred
- Ability to perform calmly in fast-paced retail contexts
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with client-oriented mindset
