Dolce & Gabbana seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its South Coast Plaza boutique in Costa Mesa, California. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, manage sales floor performance, supervise and develop Client Advisors and support staff, and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will drive sales and profitability whilst maintaining the exceptional standards of luxury retail service expected of the brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and analyze client data and analytics for North America to identify strategic opportunities
- Monitor sales floor and zone coverage to drive sales performance and maintain customer engagement
- Supervise and evaluate daily goals and tasks of Client Advisors, Cashiers, and support personnel
- Train and develop Client Advisors, Cashiers, and support staff to enhance team capability and customer service excellence
- Maintain current store operations manuals including Policies & Procedures, Product Knowledge, Marketing, and Editorial materials
- Maintain accurate logs for alterations, transfers, outside repairs, consignments, and safe procedures
- Execute and ensure compliance with all Sales Audit tasks and requirements
- Manage visual presentation strategy including planning, implementation, execution, and feedback
- Assist in recruitment, retention, supervision, training, and development of store personnel
- Monitor sales, shrink, and controllable expenses including payroll management
- Identify future opportunities and risks within the store environment
- Manage implementation and execution of all company-wide initiatives at the store level
- Ensure full compliance with store policies, procedures, and dress code guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of luxury retail management experience
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge within the luxury sector
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership mentality
- Team-oriented approach with collaborative communication style
- Proactive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets

Minimum 3+ years of progressive luxury retail management experience, with demonstrated success in driving sales, managing teams, and maintaining operational excellence in a high-end retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education or retail management certification preferred.
