Diptyque Training Assistant internship in Paris, France—design retail training modules and manage digital learning platforms for 6 months from January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop pedagogical training modules on Diptyque's sales experience and techniques, utilizing both remote and in-store formats
- Update and maintain training content for the permanent course catalogue
- Monitor module development and coordinate with external agencies on training material creation
- Create communications and manage digital learning platform administration, including KPI tracking
- Integrate and co-develop content within the e-learning platform
- Coordinate translation efforts with agencies and regional markets
- Track training programme deployment across markets and produce summary reports
- Support affiliate teams in managing back-office systems and digital platforms
- Organize and coordinate logistical aspects of in-person and remote training sessions, including preparation of materials and observation of activities
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in retail training, customer experience, and pedagogical innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 4–5 years of tertiary education from a business school, university, or IEP programme
- Prior experience in the luxury sector, preferably fashion and/or perfumery
- Foundational boutique or hospitality experience
- Demonstrated creativity, curiosity, and strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written communication abilities in French and English
- Proficiency with digital tools, video production, and design software; strong aesthetic sense for layout and presentation
- Genuine passion for retail, luxury, the fragrance universe, and knowledge transfer
Skills
Experience
Ideally, candidate possesses prior experience in a retail or hospitality environment, combined with familiarity with the luxury sector. Background in training coordination, instructional design, or educational programme management is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac+4 or Bac+5) from a business school (École de Commerce), university, or Institut d'Études Politiques (IEP). Educational background in training, learning & development, communications, or a related field is preferred.
